The
Dining to Make a Difference Festival and Scavenger
Hunt is creating quite the quest for
best these days. For those of you waiting for just
that right moment to start your fun and exciting POP
(Proof-of-Presence) collection, let alone turning
it into a stunning work of art, better get cracking!
Everyone from those just wanting to dine around as
much as possible to those determined to win the top
prize at DMD’s grand finale street fair next
Wednesday, are as busy as bees.
The goal is for participants to patronize
as many downtown eating, drinking and shopping venues
as possible, and to collect POP (Proof-of-Presence)
materials from each. Everything from a nice matchbook
collection to grand and ambitious collages are being
put together by those who care and those who create.
And we shall see the final results
of people's scavenger hunt sweat and toil at our festival
on June 19th.
Scavenger hunt-wise, that still gives
you a few days to get going or improve your chances.
Use your imagination! Be daring and crazy! Be caring
and not-so-lazy! Prizes will be awarded to scavenger
hunt participants in such categories as most venues
visited and most creative display of POP materials.
For those with entries next week, please bring them
to the festival stage area, on Washington Street between
Albany and Carlisle, by 6:00 pm, or contact info@vergant.com
to make other arrangements.
Of course, we hope you will be joining
us for the BIG event next week. Here is the info to
